Announced along with Canon’s new SLR this week, the popular camera maker also debuted a number of other point-and-shoot cameras in its line. One of them, the PowerShot SD990 IS Digital ELPH looks like a stylish new addition.
Shipping in black, silver or red, the camera has a nice set of specs. A 14.7-megapixel resolution is teamed up with a 3.7x Optical Zoom with Optical Image Stabilization. Canon’s new Quick Shot Mode allows for faster shutter speed, as well.
The nice little point-and-shoot is more than just a good looking camera, it really packs a bit of punch.
If you like the looks of the red camera, you have to act fast, as it’s only available in a limited number at the Canon U.S.A. eStore.
I really like the looks of this new camera. And, with Canon putting some of the functionability of their high-end SLRs into their point-and-shoot cameras, these little guys are only going to continue to become bettter and better cameras.
