Our UK readers can expect a new Ricoh camera to hit the shelves later this year. The R10, a 10 megapixel point-and-shoot camera, will be the company’s next offering.
The camera comes equipped with a 7.1x optical wide-angle zoom and a solid body made to stand up to nature.
Also included are a 3.0″ monitor that displays in 460,000 dot HVGA — a really nice contrast that allows you to shoot outside in the sun and still see the screen.
Of course, face recognition and image stabilizers are built in as well.
I’ve never come accross a Ricoh before, which makes sense me not being from the UK. But, I wonder how they are. Anyone out ther use a Ricoh or know anything about them? Do you have one and like it? Hate it? Let me know.
