It’s for a good cause, yeah? But, honestly, we have to stop making things pink just so women will buy them.
You remember when Fujifilm did this, and now it’s Canon’s turn.
So, again, a new camera package with all pink tech is hitting stores under the guise of supporting breast cancer research. Great cause! Silly marketing ploy.
In the package, Canon includes a SD1100 IS Powershot Digital Elf camera and Selphy CP760 digital photo printer. All pink, as I said.
Nothing new here, simply a repackaging of two nice Canon products. The company hopes to donate $150,000 toward breast cancer research as a result of the product. So, if ylu like pink, need a new camera and printer, and want to play into a marketing sceme for a good cause, check it out.
