The Times Online is hosting a digital photography contest for shooters who have made their way to China at some point. Looking to capture China in a greater light, the paper is seeking view of the country as it works in the world around it. I’ll let them sum it up:
“We are inviting entrants to capture the presence of China on the world stage,” Ian Gilbert, the corporate partner at Walker Morris, says. “That could be in the arts, industry or commerce and it might be on the streets of Manchester, London or Leeds as well as across Europe or in China itself. From being a closed society less than 30 years ago China has transformed itself into a global player and we are looking for photographs that illustrate that process.”
Entrants are invited to submit digital images together with their contact details (address, phone number, e-mail etc.) to timescompetition@walkermorris.co.uk to reach us by no later than Wednesday, December 31.
So, if you want a little international fame, get snapping.
