Last week I was blogging about the need to resize some photos before you transfer them to your GiiNii digital photos frame. It may seem like a daunting task if you don;t do a lot of photo editing. But, thanks to the Internet, it’s a simple one step process. Of course, if you do have photo editing software like photoshop, you can always use that too.
Online Photo Resizing:
There are a number of great sites where you can take your huge images and size them down to save space on your memory card and make room for even more photos. For instance, a site like the Online Image Resizer gets right to the point. Simply upload you photos, choose the sizer and save the result. All you have to do is click two buttons.
For those of you who might want a little more control, there are site like Picnik, where you can upload you photos and do more than just resize them.
To resize in Picnik, just upload you photo, click resize and enter the new dimensions. I suggest going with easy 400×300 dimensions. This will keep you photos small, but large enough to look great on your GiiNii frame.
Now, cutting down the file size of your photos is easy and fast. That means more memories for your memory card.
