All you need do is every time there is a family event taking place, insert a brand new memory card into the device and when you are finished just take it out and send it off to your parents, who only have to swap memory cards in the digital photo frame.
Even if the memory cards are different it is no hassle, you will just have to download it onto your computer, then you can easily transfer the images or video onto the other memory card and then send it off.
