How to make an impact with a DPF
Posted by David Allen in Digital Frames on 12 1st, 2008 |

Digital photo frames (DPF) are an amazing piece of kit, but they do not always have to be used for simply displaying the family photos in the home or on the corner of the owner’s desk at work.

Many businesses have found that a DPF can be a powerful marketing tool which when used in the right place and at the correct time can produce some terrific results from something that costs very little and will not take a long time to set up.

Obviously the DPF has to be the right sort of size and style, it is better to use a neutral DPF such as the GiiNii™ 8” Widescreen Digital Picture Frame. But it does depend on what the business is, if it is a older type business then a really nice wooden framed DPF will do the job, but on the other hand if the business is a modern business then a sleek clear or metal DPF will to the do job.

Producing what goes onto the DPF is easy when using a computer, you would need to produce an introduction, this can have contact details and logo, then this can be followed with images on one slide and text on the next, so every other image tells a story and will keep the viewers interested in what’s going on.

For users with experience it is possible to even add video, it would be just like having your own TV advert running in your store or if place in the window of your business for times when you are away and unable to meet customers personally.
