There is no reason why you should not be thinking of making a gift of a digital photo frame, they are great and they at the moment there are plenty of sales on so the prices are at all time lows too. However, there is one thing to think about, is a digital photo frame the right thing for the person that you are thinking of.
In order to decide if this is going to be gift, then you have to think of the person that you are buying it for. Is this person IT literate, do they even own a computer and will they be able to operate a digital photo frame after you have gone?
Will they be able to change memory cards or even take new photos on a digital camera for their own use, this is all fairly straight forward, yet if the user cannot do one or all of these things, then a digital photo frame may not be the gift that they could use.
